The NMAT 2020 Notification has been released as on 16th June 2020. The NMAT 2020 notification is the first notification of the MBA Admissions season. The NMAT 2020 exam can be taken across a 75-day test taking window starting from 6th Oct to 19th Dec 2020.

The timeline for NMAT 2020, which will be confirmed by the NMAT 2020 notification, is expected to be along the following lines:
Registration open – 1st August 2020 to 5th October 2020
Scheduling – 1st August 2020 to 18th October 2020
Late Registration – 6th October 2020 to 16th October 2020
Registration (Retake) – 7th October 2020 to 16th December 2020
Re-Scheduling – 1st August 2020 to 16th December 2020
Re-Take Scheduling – 7th October 2020 to 16th December 2020
Exam Delivery – 6th October 2020 to 19th December 2020

NMAT notification offers both in-time and late registration. Students registering in the late registration window will be charged an extra fee in addition to the fee payable during the normal registration period. Post registration, students will have the option of scheduling their exam in the given 75 day period. Students can also reschedule their exam by paying the rescheduling fee. The application fee for NMAT 2020 is as follows:
According to the NMAT notification, to be eligible for NMAT 2020 a candidate requires:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognized university with minimum of 50 % aggregate.
Students in their final year of the bachelors can also apply for the exam.
The NMAT 2020 Admit Card is available for download in the student’s dashboard 48 hours after successfully scheduling the NMAT 2020 Exam. It is mandatory to carry the NMAT Admit Card along with the required IDs, scheduling confirmation letter, and photocopy of the IDs to be allowed to write the exam.
Candidates have the option to reschedule their NMAT 2020 exam 72 hours prior to the scheduled exam slot. Rescheduling will be subject to availability of a time slot on a different date. Candidates will have to pay an additional fee of INR 1100 + Applicable taxes for the same. After passing the 72-hour mark students will not be able to reschedule the exam.
The 75-day test taking window is generally divided into 5 windows. The results are generated separately for each window. Normalization takes place for test takers within each window. The percentile and cut off is declared later basis the normalized scores of all test takers.

If you want to appear only once for NMAT
CAT is likely to be held on 29th November, IIFT on 6th December and SNAP on 13th December. Depending on the exams that you want to appear for and your preparedness, you need to schedule NMAT such that there is sufficient gap between two exams.
If you want to appear twice for NMAT
Schedule your first attempt latest by 10th November, so that there is at least a gap of two weeks between CAT and NMAT. You should get to know your score by the first week of December. If you are not satisfied by the score, you can appear for a retake in December.
If you want to appear thrice for NMAT
Schedule your first attempt in October. You should get your scores by November second week. If you are not happy with the score, you can appear for a retake in November. The retake score should be available by early December. If you are still not happy, you can take the NMAT again in December.
